Criminal Justice Agencies
Because of its size and importance statewide and nationally, there is representation from most state and federal justice agencies in Los Angeles County. Local offices are able to provide assistance to various law enforcement agencies as well as the general public.
The significance of this local representation is evident in the Countywide Criminal Justice Coordination Committee (CCJCC) itself. The CCJC was created to provide a forum to effectively utilize the justice agencies where traditional jurisdictional boundaries might present a problem.
